Intuitive eating is also known as "mindful eating", which incorporates mindful meditation and the act of "being" instead of "doing". Being in the moment is a state of mind where you are present and aware of your feelings, thoughts, and surroundings. It's letting go of all the stress, worries and restrictions we are bombarded with in daily life. This is a practice you may be familiar with if you practice yoga and meditation.
