Notes

Description
John Quincy Adams' long political career began at the age of ten, when he became a postrider for General Warren and the Colonial Army to deliver important papers. He became the secretary and interpretor for our ambassador to Russia while still a teenager. As an adult, he held more important offices than any man has had in America: Ambassador to Holland, Russia, and England, Emissary to England, United States Senator, Secretary of State, Reprensentative in Congress - and of course the son of our second President became our sixth President himself.
