Description
Mark Miller, member of the American Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, is told to find American Ellen Jaspar, wife of an Afghan engineer, missing for 13 months. His search involves him in a series of perilous adventures and takes him to remote parts of the ancient kingdom. In the end he finds out about the missing girl, about himself, and about Mira, a beautiful nomad girl who teaches him many things.
