"It-Girl and Other Stories" includes a young protagonist seemingly from Hades; an inexperienced but well-meaning real estate agent who finds herself in the middle of a whodunnit; and a deluded homemaker whose selfishness if on full display to everyone but herself. There's also a story about a young boy who unwittingly stands up to evil, in turn sparing the life of an old man he doesn't even know. In another, two sisters appear to be competing to see who is the more debased, with their ruthlessness resulting in the loss of a family member. Horses combined with the debauchery of money-hungry trainers is revealed in a story about a working student who is victimized the most by her parents. And there's nothing like a dark comedy about a dysfunctional family, combined with an unethical Realtor and the sale of a deceased person's property. --,Amazon.
