Description
Charles Ingalls uproots his young family from the home they have built in the forests of Wisconsin, where game is becoming scarce because of the influx of settlers. They head for land not yet overrun, the plains of Kansas. The Ingalls settle in this wide open country and soon find that life is one threat after another.
